PE & School Sport Activator

£16,000-£18,000

Fleetwood Town Community Trust is an independent and registered charity working in partnership with Fleetwood Town Football Club. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children and young people through sport, physical activity, health and educational programmes. As the Trust continues to develop we are looking for someone to deliver a number of School PE & Sports programmes in the Wyre Borough e.g. Curriculum PE, Extra-Curricular Activities and Sports, Community Sports, Holiday Sports Camps. Ensuring that participants receive professional PE & Sport support in an enjoyable, safe environment.

As part of this role you will be expected to both lead and work alongside the Trust’s staff to ensure compliance with internal and external targets.

Experience of PE & Sport delivery in curriculum time; establishing, delivering coaching programmes for young people along with a recognised Level 2 National Governing Body Sports Coaching qualification in one or more sports (or equivalent teacher status) is essential.

Casual Community Coach (Lead)

Up to 15 hours per week | Competitive rates of pay

 

We are currently recruiting a Casual Community Coach who is available on a casual basis during evenings and weekends on our Community Outreach Sports and Activity programme. There will also be opportunity for additional hours on our School Holiday Sports Camps.

 It is essential you hold at least one level 2 NGB Sports Coaching Qualification. You also must have experience of delivering Sports and Activities on Community programmes.

It is essential you are flexible to working unsociable hours.

Casual Multisport Coaches

We are currently recruiting Casual Multi sports Coaches who are available on a casual basis to deliver our curriculum and extra-curricular school sports programmes, Football Development programme and Holiday Sports Camps. It is essential you hold at least one level 2 NGB Sports Coaching Qualification. You also must have experience of delivering Sports and PE lessons/sessions in Primary school settings.

Traineeship Programme Sessional Staff

Fleetwood Town Community Trust is an independent and registered charity working in partnership with Fleetwood Town Football Club. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children, young people and adults through sport, physical activity, health and educational programmes.

The Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support, develop and deliver on their traineeship programme for 16-24 year olds.

As part of this role you will be expected to both lead and work alongside the Trust’s staff to ensure compliance with internal and external targets; prepare and deliver sessions on employability, functional and life skills; support trainees with additional needs; liaise with work placement providers and secure progression pathways.

With a good general level of education, you should be computer literate with excellent administration and communication skills. Teaching/ Youth Work/ IAG or equivalent are desirable. You must be able to work in a challenging environment with young people and adults with complex needs.

The post is for a twelve week programme, 14 hours a week, commencing on 23rd January 2018. Days required to work will be Monday and Friday 9am-5pm. The post will be based at Highbury Stadium, Fleetwood.
